We’re back with some exciting news to kick off the new year! Our team has been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re thrilled to share the latest updates that rolled out in January. Let’s see what’s fresh at Tapfiliate.

Enhanced traffic analysis with the Click Report

Ever wanted to dive deeper into your traffic analytics? Well, now you can with our brand-new click report feature! Here’s why it’s beneficial for you:

Tracking Accuracy: No more guesswork! Our click logs provide a detailed record of every single click, ensuring precise tracking of user interactions with affiliate links. This means you’ll have clear insights into the effectiveness of your campaigns and accurate attribution of conversions.

Attribution Transparency: Transparency is key in the affiliate world. With the click tracking feature, you’ll get complete visibility into the entire click journey, making it easy to resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to commission attribution among affiliates.

Fraud Detection: We take fraud seriously. Our click logs help detect suspicious patterns or anomalies in click behavior, empowering you to identify and address potential fraudulent activities. Stay tuned – we’re cooking up some anti-fraud solutions to take things to the next level!

 Performance Analysis: Drill down to your affiliate program’s performance. Our click logs allow you to analyze the performance of different affiliates, creatives, or campaigns so you can make data-driven decisions to optimize your strategies for maximum results.

We’re rolling out the click-tracking feature in API first, with UI integration coming soon! Stay tuned for updates.

Automatic DNS checking for custom domains

We’ve got your back when it comes to custom domains! Now, when you add a custom domain to your Tapfiliate account, we’ll automatically check the DNS records to ensure everything is set up correctly. If there’s a hiccup, we’ll shoot you a heads-up and guide you through the process of fixing it.

Advanced affiliate onboarding field management

We’ve made affiliate onboarding a breeze with some improvements to our onboarding fields. Check them out:

• Pre-filled onboarding fields: When you add an affiliate through our form or CSV document, their profile is automatically created with some fields already filled in. For example, if you’ve already filled in their channels, those will be pre-filled in the “Additional Information” step. Affiliates can quickly correct or add new information or skip the step if other required fields are filled.
• Optional ‘Address’ onboarding field: We’ve heard your feedback! Now, you can make the ‘Address’ field optional for affiliates during onboarding. This speeds up the process and eliminates frustration for affiliates who don’t need to provide this information. Plus, it gives you more control over your onboarding settings.
• Hide optional onboarding fields: Want to streamline the signup process even more? Now, you can hide specific optional fields from the signup form altogether. This helps optimize the process for affiliates and encourages them to complete the signup smoothly.

Pagination in the Reporting subsections of the Affiliate Portal

We’ve introduced pagination to the Reporting subsections in the Affiliate Portal. Now, your affiliates can navigate through their reporting data with ease.

Improved display of product notifications

To keep you in the loop, we’ve made some improvements to our changelog. Now, you’ll see more lines of news item text within the slide bar, making it easier to stay up-to-date with the latest releases. Plus, we’ve added identifiers to new items, so you’ll never miss a beat.

Smoother affiliate signup with the password setup tooltip

We’ve made a minor but helpful tweak to our signup form. Now, when your affiliates set up a new password, they’ll see a friendly little tooltip right next to the password field. This tooltip provides the info one needs about our system’s password requirements.

Why did we add this? We noticed that sometimes, affiliates accidentally created passwords that needed to meet our system’s standards, leading to frustrating error messages. With the tooltip always there to guide you, you can create the perfect password from the get-go, making the signup process smoother for everyone.
